AUSTRALIA DAY THEME DANCE

CANCELLED.

Unfortunately the club has been advised by Cairns State High School that our confirmed booking for this date has been cancelled. 

The school has advised CBDC the following:

“Due to the push back of school starting and delayed maintenance works around the school, all hire arrangements will now commence week of Monday 7 February 2022.

Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.“

Please be aware the school has also given CBDC the following information and directive:

“Principals may negotiate the use of their facilities for external users in line with the Queensland COVID-19 planning framework as long as the external user is operating in accordance with Queensland Government COVID Safe Businesses.

The Principal must ensure all measures have been taken to meet departmental and Chief Health Officer requirements.

Facilities Hirers must be vaccinated if there are high risk personnel on school sites.  As such, when hiring out facilities, there is always this possibility as at any time there may be school staff or students on site.  As there is a high possibility of staff being on premises whilst hiring the facilities at CSHS, the hirer and their employees or volunteers must be vaccinated.“
